The current PPE Directive 89/686/EEC is in the process of being superseded by the new EU Regulation 2016/425. As for motorcycling garments this means that they will be officially considered PPE and consequently require the Certification to be placing onto the EU market.

RICOTEST has achieved the outmost competence in testing the quality and safety properties of motorcycling PPE. Any device that contributes to the safety of the motorcyclist (footwear, gloves, clothing, and impact protectors) can be tested in our laboratories.
